About the role
FW26 Community Resident – Lofoten Pier Lodge
Are you our next Community Resident in Lofoten?
Come live, play, and help build community at our Lofoten lodge this autumn and winter. This is a seasonal, part-time residency (minimum one month, anytime between September 2026 and February 2027) – a great fit if you love good company, mountain air, and making a place run beautifully.
Your stay
We’d love to have you for anywhere from 1 to 2 months between September 15th and February 25th, with residencies starting mid-month.
When you apply, just let us know which month you’d like to start and the longest you’d consider staying. One thing to keep in mind: you’ll be based at the lodge for most of your stay (aside from group trips once your responsibilities are covered), so make sure that rhythm feels right for you before applying.
What you’ll do
You’ll be at the heart of life at the Lofoten Pier Lodge, helping guests feel at home the moment they walk in. Plan on 20 hours a week welcoming new arrivals, keeping the lodge running smoothly with light cleaning and day-to-day tasks, and organizing the get-togethers that make this place special from shared dinners to group hikes, sauna sessions and more.
You’ll work closely with our Creator Resident to document events, gatherings, and everyday moments that bring the lodge to life.
What We Offer
You’ll live at the Lofoten Pier Lodge free of charge for your whole stay, plus a lifetime 10% discount (on top of other offers like long-stay discounts) on future stays and events with Arctic Coliving. You’ll also get to know our friends in Henningsvær and become part of a mountain adventure community unlike any other in the world. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you will be sharing a room with another Creator/Community Resident during your stay in Lofoten.
Who You Are
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love creating warm, welcoming spaces for people from all over the world
- Feel most at home in the mountains and the outdoors (hiking, climbing, skiing — you name it)
- Are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing lodge life on your own
- Enjoy bringing people together and improving how things work
- You are responsible and kind
Experience with hospitality, events, or community building is a real plus — and above all, we hope you’re reliable and excited to add to a positive home away from home.
About the Application
To apply, you’ll share a bit about yourself and record a short video (under 90 seconds) introducing yourself — just upload it publicly to YouTube, Vimeo, or similar before you start. A PDF application and portfolio are optional but always welcome. Questions? Reach out anytime at welcome@arcticcoliving.com.
